Think of it as your user guide — not a fix
Autism isn't something to overcome. It's something to understand. I help teens, adults, and families learn how they operate, where they thrive, and how to prepare for the parts that are genuinely hard.
A Different Way to Think About It
Too much of the conversation around autism is framed as a problem to solve. That's not how I work. I approach ASD the way you'd approach understanding any complex system — by learning how it operates, identifying where it excels, and being honest about where it needs support.
That's why I call it a user guide. You're not broken. You're running a different operating system — and once you understand it, you can stop fighting against yourself and start working with who you actually are.
The goal isn't to make you fit in. It's to help you thrive as yourself.
Who I Work With
ASD & Teens
School, social life, and identity are hard enough — they're harder when your brain processes the world differently.
- ● Navigating friendships and social dynamics
- ● Managing sensory overload and school stress
- ● Exploring alternatives to university
- ● Building confidence and self-advocacy
- ● Career exploration that matches how they think
ASD & Adults
Many adults discover they're on the spectrum later in life — and suddenly their whole story makes sense.
- ● Processing a late diagnosis
- ● Understanding lifelong masking and its cost
- ● Building self-knowledge and self-compassion
- ● Navigating relationships and communication
- ● Developing strategies that fit your brain
ASD & Careers
Neurodivergent traits aren't just challenges — they're genuine assets in the right environment.
- ● Identifying careers that suit how you think
- ● Detail-oriented roles: finance, banking, analysis
- ● Navigating workplace dynamics and communication
- ● Leveraging strengths rather than masking differences
- ● Especially relevant for Hong Kong's expat professionals
How I Work
I adapt my therapeutic approach to suit autistic communication styles. That means sessions are clear, structured, and predictable — you'll always know what to expect. I won't ask you to decode ambiguous social cues or read between the lines.
I draw from DBT, ACT, and Schema Therapy — adapting evidence-based techniques to work with how autistic brains actually process information. The focus is practical: building strategies for the real challenges you face, not training you to perform neurotypicality.
For teens, I also work with parents through the SPACE programme (Yale) — helping you support your child effectively without inadvertently increasing distress.
